Day 6 – First City Tour!

We have the 1st city tour todae…Went to Hubei Provincial Museum than Yellow Crane Tower. There are so many things in the museum and is like about 3 -4 storey high? Hahas. Anyway, some of the displayed items are at Beijing… coz of the Olympics.. so we cant see everything. Hmm.. some interesting stuffs I saw are the arrows and the belts the ppl used in the past! Hahas. Now I noe u they are all so skinny. The belts are actually made of gold! Take a look (I wonder how do they put them on. Lol!):


One thing rather disappointing for this museum trip is that the tour guide put in effort to explain to us.. but most of us were not listening-.- Anyway, this is rather an eye-opener for mi! knowing even more facts of these items… Shall let pictures explain themselves.

Next we went to have lunch at …. Not sure of the name.. but it look like bugis street! Hahas. Hm… the way we pay for our food is kinda of special? We have to buy a card… it acts like an ez-link card. So.. yup, shall not explain more. Hahas. It was difficult to find seats there.. but we are lucky enough to sit-in at a stall that sell “tang bao”. Hahas. Anyway, the food is rather ex. Lol.



This is the Yellow Crane Tower! So cool rite? Hahas. It was rebuilt for like 4-5 times. The one we are standing at is the 5th time. It was built in 1981, opened in 1984. Hahas. So.. now should be 24 years old? The tour guide mentioned that many famous poet (hope I named them correctly) came here. Yup. One of the them is Li Bai. Anyway, there’s a story for this tower, hm… shall not blog it coz I think is rather long? (well, im juz lazy.lol) More pictures… hahas.

I brought 2 fans, that inform how did our surname came about… arh. Hope I will not regret buying tt. We came back at 5 plus.. and I so powerful that I slept from then all the way to 9 plus. Hahas. Now, let mi look forward tml where I guess there will be a lot shopping to be done?

Day 5 – First Educational Trip at Wuhan?

Went to steel mild today! Hope I spelt it correctly. Hahas. It din turn out to be as boring as I thought.. it is an eye opener for mi! hahas saw the iron ore etc stuffs.. so hot and scary.. unfortunately…. We cannot take photos inside…

After was lunch? Had halal food.. so we can eat with our 2 Muslim friends.. hahas! Hmm that’s not much things to say todae.. we went back to the dorm.. and start doing our own things.. The blogger html is driving mi crazy. I think I will continue it tml. Since is like.. omg so late already. Hahas! Anyway, I finally exercise after so long. Had basketball and jogging! Aw… I missed the times where I played with my sec sch friends..when are we goin to play again?? Hahas..

Day 4!- LONG LECTURE=.=

The day started with a long long IS lecture... Actually it is very beneficial and interesting, however, the timing is too long and there is only 1 break. I cannot tahan! Hahas. But i can tell that the lecturer, Xiaoling, had put in a lot of effort to educate us and share with us the culture.. so basic facts of the country. She came up with 10 topics on the spot and grouped us in to 10 groups to prepare a short presentation... Together with the ECE ppl...

From that lecture, the thing that left mi a very deep impression is those festival and legends. Those that the lecturer had mention actually took place in Hubei. Hahas, kind of surprise... However, one thing that Im very guilty is that I did not pay attention for the whole lesson coz is too heavy!! Omg, so I decided that the next lesson i better put in my best effort to pay attention to her lectures. Anyway, she knows that today is too heavy and the class got restless near to the end of the lesson... Therefore, she promised that the next lesson will not be so taxing. (o:

Lunch was at the school canteen, did not turn out to be something i thought. It was better. Hahas. But, oily and salty as usual-.- and, finally got the change to use the canteen card. Hahas. Than at a later time, we realised that we also can use that card at the mama shop near to our dorm. Hahas. Dumb of us to only realise that now ( better than nv). Hahas

Afternoon was very free! Hahas. We are suppose to tidy our room..but i went out. Hahas. Firstly, coz my room is already very tidied and i need to check out the prices of the camera... Mine broke down=.= by the time we got back is already like... 5 plus? Hahas. So we decided to set off for dinner! Hahas. We had the best meal ever today..at a restaurant. Each of us only pay like 5plus (S$) hahas. Omg. The food was nice also, only that the duck was a lil spicy.

Anyway, i hoped it rain...and it did todae! Now i regretted. Lol. It is so troublesome! Hahas.. but at least is less warm.. Lets hope that tml will be a windy day.. no big sun... no rain. Pls. Hahas.

Tml will also be going to the steel mild factory? I suppose.. wonder wat is that.. Im not very excited about it.. Hope it wont disappoint mi tml.... May i complete collecting the photos.. so i can upload them.... (o:

Day 3 – 1st Day of School!

The day started as usual… Juz that Mr Puah knock so hard on everyone’s door…that it seems to be collapsing anytime. Hahas! But I know he juz dun wan us to be late for lesson. Hahas. Hmm, receive the news that the 3 Gorges trip is postponed to another day.. PHEW~ got more time to prepare my mood.. and we are going to the Coca Cola Company on FRIDAE! Or Sat?? Hahas. I look forward.

We set off at 830 to the classroom.. and Mr Puah started his introduction of the module. Hahas! I noticed sth! He loves to say “what” at the end of the sentence and expected us to complete it… but he always complete it in the end. Hmm, whats Business Process Engineering?

• Try to Pre-empt… noe sth is goin to happen..so juz sit there and wait.

Next was lunch..(getting the food from the stalls behind the dorm…) ppl waiting for the internet to be fixed and we went shopping! Hahas. Before that, we went to a park… hmm a theme park..took my jump shots there.. take until sooooo tired. Hahas! It was fun, however I realize there are quite a number of beggars. Omg. I got freak out -.- hmm but the shopping part of kind of fun. Hahas! Anyway, we got 2 Wu han friends to bring us around to the place.. so actually we took public bus today, and cab back to the hostel. Yining saw a lady..super inconsiderate. She ate some fruit *I think* and threw the shell on the floor.. not 1, not 2. But uncountable. Omg. Poor Wuhan, thanks to her.. this kind of people, the place become so dirty and left a bad impression for us. Anyway,I bought 2 shirts and 1 pair of shorts, surprisingly, the salesgirl recognize us! Hahas. She told us that she took the same bus as us juz now, and was very nice and courteous to us.

Hmm, came back to the hostel and hurried connect to the net.. so I can contact my family members. Hahas. Felt great! I saw all of them finally after like like 2-3 days? Hahas. Omg. But they are still as naggy-.- but I noe they are worried. So, I think let them off. Hahas. Its 12.37 now.. need to sleep…lesson at 8-.-

Day 2 – SLACK!

As expected, there is some welcome speech for us. Went to the Lecture theater…. Not too bad. I like the style of it... although is a little squeezy… But I seriously like it. Hahas. They introduced the deputy principal, lecturers from both sides… blablabla… Dun look like it at all. Than touring round the campus, showing the blocks, our classroom block (call 教四宿? Can’t recall…) like NP Block 50. Haha. But they are exactly the same as those I seen in those Taiwan drama. Yup… that’s all I have the impression of the place.

After that went to the supermarket to get some stuffs… hahas. Im so proud that we brought the toilet rolls… hahas! And the fact that Samantha is good at the housework.. so we seems to be the only one dun need to buy pail..! hia hia hia. Packing MAC (again) for lunch… and came back to eat… Slack till 7 plus? And had cup noodles.

Anyway, the internet "came" at 3 plus! Haha, feeling so lucky that I did not leave the room to buy the SIM card, because the guy came to fix the internet… those who went out do not have internet connection..! waha! *Evil of mi* jking (o: they also wanted to MSN with their family members… So, is so wasted that they do not have the opportunity to do so… So, we took turns to use the net.. but the connection like keep cutting off=.= I was very lucky to be able to MSN, and even video call to quite a number of my family members and friends… Currently is 10.19pm, there is no connection. I cant MSN my dad and elder sis)o:

Hmm, tomorrow starting lesson at 9am. Hahas. I wonder how it would be like… Need to bring lappy… even though there is no plug there-.- My notebookdefinitely WONT last =.= OMG. I feel like sleeping… but need to wait for 1150 for a mini meeting? Lol. For Willis bithday.. hahas. Is ok, I dun mind waiting if it can make everyone happy (o:

Kkk…. Waiting for time.. hope tomorrow wont be so small… Get cooler please.

Day 1 – Here I Come!

Today is the first day coming to Wuhan, my first time leaving my parents and for 6 weeks! Hahas It was kind of sad, not able to see my sisters for so long, unfortunately, they cannot send me off, so only my parents sent me. Of course, the Camp Piak friends and some of my classmates came too. They were “torning” at the airport since the day before! Before boarding train, I gave my sisters a call each, also my grandparents (Well, I woke them up). Then I received a message from my second sister, saying:

To my dearest 妹妹. You may find that I am very naggy but I still want to say no matter what. Pls do take care of yourself. Especially food that you eat. Your eyes, skin, health. Anywhere not feeling well tell teacher. Pls don keep to urself. And drink more water, weather is warm and hot there. Oh ya, pls boil the water first ar! Don lazy! If you hot, don hesitate to bath 2 or 3 times a day, because you have sensitive skin. Food, be cautious of what you eat. Like seafood wise, careful. Eyes on not wear lenses if you do not feel good. Don think you wear lenses take photo nice nice then you insist wearing it ar… Health, you do not have such good health like me. So, pls be careful of our health. Shall not continue, wait you think I way too naggy. Anyway, I will miss you for these pathetic 6 wks. Without, houe has so much lesser noise. Ha ha. Take care.pls talk to me when you are online (:

I was granted the window seats for both planes, yeah! Just as I wished!! However, the plane was like extremely hot, i wonder if the air-conditioner spoilt! Even when we reach the Guangdong airport also the same. Is the government trying to save cost or??? At the Guangdong airport, we saw an interesting show, the Chinese people were quarrelling, over luggage (according to Willis)? SUPER INTERESTING! But dun have photo=.=

Similarly for the Wuhan airport, WARM and HOT and... I dunno. By then, I was already very tired, I am rather surprised that I’m so tired, usually, this was not suppose to be the case. We took a hour ride before reaching the university… During that journey, I realize the attire of the people were not what we were told, covered shoes, jeans, 3 quarter pants.. Instead, I can see Singapore’s culture! I regretted not bringing more shorts…! Also, discovered that the pathetic 6 guys for the trip were damn nice! They offered to help us do this and that, warn us the DOs and DON’Ts etc… And I got kind of freak out when I they say have to bring the notebook along with us at all times blablabla... -.- so heavy.

Saw the room! I was a little disappointed.. but I saw the air con! Hehe. Average la, acceptable. But a lot of cleaning up need to be done still. The school have specially installed the air con and heater for us..so I try not to complaint so much. Hahas. Yup that’s all, looks at the photos after we have “decorated” it.
